Jim Malloy #5, Driver Profile

Jim Malloy prior to the start of the Bobby Ball 150 in Phoenix, Arizona 1970.

The Malloy Brothers Jim (left) and Jerry (right) with their famous "Red Rooster" supermodified.

This was the car that made Jim Malloy famous as a driver and Jerry Malloy famous as a chassis fabricator. During the early days of CAMRA this was the combination everyone else tried to beat.

Tragically, Jim Malloy would die of injuries he received in a practice crash while preparing for his 5th Indianapolis 500 in 1972.
